I have gotten several styles of Palladiums, fits always great, and I just love them to death. I wear the canvas ones out way to fast because of where I work and what they get soaked with ( I work in a kennel, and it's cleaning solvents - bleach, pinesol, and kennel disinfectant - not to mention little sharp dog claws!). How ever, the base has almost as good a grip as my Matterhorns on a concrete floor, which means the dogs as big as me can't ski me down the hall. Always a bonus! With me they tend to frey first by the outsides of the ball of my feet. They last me about 6 months, but then again I put them to hard use everyday. I do mean everyday, so thats actually a great deal. And plus, they are cute and stylish. Oh, and I just replace them when they look freyed, because of looking professional, they are still wearable if you like the rugged explorer look (which I do, because I am!).
I love these. The fit is as expected or slightly large (or maybe is just a little wide for my narrow feet). I decided not to exchange them for a smaller size thinking that they might be too small. Other than this, they are perfect. The insoles offer nice arch support. Would definitely recommend these!
