Great looking boots. Light weight and comfortable but I got two blisters on the inside of my heals after the first few hours of wearing them. They loosened up a little on the second day. Look good with relaxed fit jeand and boot cut jeans.

Great shoes! They do run large, I normally wear a size 14 in sneakers and these fit great at 13. Get em! You'll be taller too!

I love these boots! This is actually the second pair that I have purchased. The only complaint I have is that they are a little hard to break in when you first get them.
I'd definitely recommend wearing longer socks for a while when you first get these otherwise you may end up having the ankle portion rub against your skin for a while... it took about 2-3 weeks to break these in but they are awesome once you do!

Good leather, look great. Take some breaking in and run pretty big. I wear an 11.5-12 normally and bought an 11 after reading other reviews. Heel was pretty lose and had to try and shrink the leather down by getting it wet, drying in the drier and just breaking in. Feels pretty good now but never going to be your best fitting boot with the way there are only two eyelets - you either leave it lose and your heel moves or you tighten and have it dig in a little. Tried on a 10.5 in the store to find the heel still moves but the toes were cramped so I'm confident in the size. Seems good once you break in and for how good they look - I'm all for it (just don't go walking a 10k in them).

I already owned a pair of Clarks Bushacre 2 suede chuckas that were purchased about 18 mths ago. I wore the shoes 3 or 4 days per week and loved them so much I wanted to purchase another pair. All the retailers in my area that carry Clarks men's shoes didn't have the product, nor did Clarks website. I was able to find the shoes on Amazon after I'd exhausted all other options. From now on, I'll start where I finished this time.

excellent i love it! those boots are amazing i already have ones but this ones looks amazing in my closet! i recommend it 1000%

the provider did a great job of exchanging first pair which didn't fit with a new pair. they were easy to communicate with. Shoes look and feel great.

Really nice and oh so comfy what else do you need to know? Lite on the feet look classic looking boot

Love these shoes! I got them in the brown leather, and they have held up pretty well. I had to condition them and wear them in a bit, but they are my go-to shoes now. Beautiful!

These shoes are comfortable and good for casual or dressing up. Well made and feel broken in right out of the box.

The only difference between this and the standard Clark's Desert boot is the slight difference in the choice of colors and the fact that this has a synthetic sole (and a very durable one) rather than the natural crepe sole. I sprayed waterproofing silicone on it before the winter (the dirtiest, messiest NYC winter in my 50-year memory), and this did not change the color at all, but at the end of the winter the boots were completely unscathed by the snow and ice the city failed to clear (little kids were trying to help the city's snow-plows!). No slipping or sliding, no water ever touched my socks, my feet were warmer than one would expect, and they cleaned off easily. The laces started giving out after all that heavy use, but for $2 they're easily replaced.
The other on-line shoe place has all the models, and I have 2 of those other Clark's Desert Boots as well.
If it's a Clark's Desert Boot, I'd say you can't go wrong.

Desert boots don't really go on sale in my size (12), and I needed a new pair.

I thought I try the Bushacre, as it is cheaper, and I've had problems with the crepe rubber sole on the classic model getting rather shredded through normal use.

These Bushacre shoes are much like the classic desert boots, but they're obviously cheaper leather. The dyed leather surface has a sanded finish, which makes it look somewhat cheap (but not plasticky). I plan to use some shoe cream to make them more like the beeswax leather original.

These Bushacres also have a synthetic suede-like liner throughout the entire upper. I am not sure what this is for, but it makes the shoes hurt slightly less during break-in, but also makes them warmer. Sweaty feat.

The soles are quite nice. Standard synthetic rubber sole, like a normal tennis shoe. Grippy and durable. Won't get stained or tear like the crepe rubber soles on the original.

Shoe laces appear identical to those on the original model.

These have the classic no-arch-support wide flat foot bed, which is awesome for my flat feet. Quite comfortable, yet still nice enough for the office (unless you're a banker or salesman.)

I love theses shoes. they are very comfortable on the feet. also, they are really stylish for everyday wear or a night out.

I really, REALLY wanted these boots to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned....it would seriously simplify all of my future shoe purchases: just get different colors and call it good. So far they are NOT the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, but I think they'll get there eventually. It took almost 5 yrs to get my $350 Redwings out of the "tortuous" category, and these started out waaay more comfy than those did, and at less than 1/3 of the price.Im confident they'll break-in and end up being my favorite pair of shoes, therefore I'm giving them 5 stars. I'll still be buying more in different colors. Bottom line: Solid purchase, 0 regrets.

Received my pair promptly, and immediately wore them for several days. I swear this shoe looks better every time I wear them. I thought There might be some issues w/ the durability of the sole, but as far as I can tell it has held up very well. The only difference between the original CDB (Clark's Desert Boot) and the Bushacre 2 is the synthetic crepe sole, which afaik is even more durable and has less wear/discoloration from everyday use. I cannot comment on comparisons of the uppers, but the suede is very soft and has a nice nap so you can brush them a certain direction and have a darker/lighter shade on demand.

Details:
Sized a half size down from my usual, fits perfect. Maintenance-wise I would suggest a weather/water sealant spray if you live in a rainy climate. A gum-eraser usually does the trick if you get dirt/stains, water drops i just dab a q-tip or a paper towel on the spot for cleaning. Very smart purchase, if you're looking for a stylish, dapper boot that can withstand abuse and everyday wear.

Styling:
versatile & practical. Smarts up a casual outfit, and dresses down more formal attire.
